Faces of Ecuador

Just sharing a few pictures...

Went to Otavalo market on 2-4-11. Otavalo is about two hours north of Quito. Many people in Otavalo still wear traditional clothing.
This baby was at For His Children for about one month, before being reunited with his birth mother, pictured here. We had a party celebrating the happy event.
This is one of the newest babies to come to For His Children. She's getting ready to be weighed and get her hand and foot prints done. These pictures, prints, and facts are some of the many things that are included in the photo books that are compiled and then given to the biological or adoptive families when the child leaves.
Here I am with both my roommates, Jen Schneider (L)- who works at For His Children- and Isabel (R)- who is from Germany and is volunteering at the orphange through the end of May.
Every Friday, Jilly, the woman in blue, comes to do music class with the kids. Here are a few of them, along with some of the members from a church group that came down from Ohio for the week.
