Simple Joys...

I took a walk with the kids the other day. We were thankful for even a partially sunny day since it's now officially rainy season here in Quito. It can be "cold" (mid-50's), grey, and damp for many days at a time, so we took advantage of the break in the clouds and went out for a walk in the neighborhood. It felt like we were herding a flock(?) of ducks. It's hard enough to get some of the littles to walk (one was practically being dragged up the hill since she was not a happy camper), not to mention to stay together, hold a partner's hand, and avoid the cars and many stray dogs (as well as what they leave behind!). When we got to the top of the hill, we stopped for a mid-morning snack. I love these little people <3

One little, who will remain nameless, had an accident... so being on a hill the others had to watch their feet! :) Life with Toddlers.

Also had fun with some of the older girls- having a nail polish party!
